LINK Comunicaciones S.A. R.D.S. 16 FRAMES MKII has become itself in a classic equipment for broadcasting. This module is usually used by the main commercial radio stations, little local stations and most of little towns radiostations. This is the most sold R.D.S. equipment in Spain. In addition to the characteristics of simplicity, direct access to "TA"-"PI/PS" change, 16 frames sequencely attainables, no need to take off the EEPROM to program, etc.. The new R.D.S. GENERATOR 16 FRAMES MKII  replaces the 1st version, with notable advantages when you need to program or reprogram.

This equipment no needs recording unit and screens sequence unit. You record directly, from a "PC" through RS-232 port, all station data, screen sequences , etc... willing a Windows 98SE-ME-NT-2000-XP program avaliable in the downloads section. This program is very intuitive and easy to use, with an edition function that facilitate the modification of each information without the need of reprogramming all the equipment. For the big broadcast companies, this equipment permitts the attaching of an expansion module for the EBU/UER SPB-490 standards, that permitts the reprogramming of the equipment through satellite way, telephonic modem, etc.., eviting the presence of any person.

· Processing and data control through "RISC" technology microcontroller.
· PI, PS, TP, TA, PTY, M/S, DI, AF & RT RDS functions.
· 16 PS in two frames of 8 PS each one. Programmable sequence.
· Memory recording through RS-232 port.
· Direct access to TA-PI/PS by remote or panel push buttons.
· Transmission parameters in agreement with CENELEC 50067 (Actually EN 62106:2001) and EBU 3244.
· RDS signal serial attaching in MPX baseband by pasive insertion (MPX signal is not modified) or independent subcarrier input .
· Pilot/automatic subcarrier or pilot signal independent input synchronization.
· Front panel with working pilots and TA - PI/PS push buttons 
· Posibility to update to SPB-490 rules for RDS Coders remote programming.
