1+1 Exciters / Transmitters Changeover 2000 series


In broadcast transmitter installations is usual to have an emergency transmitter equipment, that will replace the main, in case of a failure or damage will interrupt the broadcast. Is desirable that the replacement of the main equipment by the emergency equipment will be automatic because most broadcast centers are non-attend. 1+1 AUTOMATIC CHANGEOVERS execute those functions, detecting the failure and commuting transmitter equipment and the modulation. The change of the equipment suposes to commute the antenna feet of the second transmitter and start it. Depending of the aerials power, LINK Comunicaciones S.A. disposes of a second version of 1+1 AUTOMATIC CHANGEOVER with coaxial internal relay (since 250 W) and another one with external relay. With external relay you can work with any power (depending of the coaxial relay used). 

The equipment disposes of one function (excludable), that 5 minutes after the change, tries to start the 1st transmitter again if it would has been a false alarm. If 1st transmitter starts again, all the parameters will return like the beginning. If 1st transmitter doesn´t start, 1+1 AUTOMATIC CHANGEOVER will understand that exists a failure and will keep 2nd transmitter working and won´t try to start the 1st again. Is possible to establish like "Mains" any of the two transmitters. In optocouplertelemetry systems, the equipment informs of the incidences and is able to reset the system. 

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
 
· Automatic change of the Exciter / Transmitter connected as MAIN by the RESERVE unit in case of Main unit failure.
· Supply disconnection of the damaged unit and connection of the Reserve unit.
· Telecommand to know what equipment is working (Main or Reserve).
· Telecommand to activate remotely the RESET function.
